Grey Heron

The young one was waiting for me on the viewing platform. When she saw me coming she jumped into the water. I went over and gave her a good feed. There were 4 crows today one of which is the one who lands next to me on the fence and eats from my hand. After feeding the young one, I made my way up to the clearing but there was nothing there. I went a little further and the youngest one flew over and the nervous female started walking over. I gave them both a feed and then went back to the clearing in case the male had shown up. There was still nothing there until the juvenile gull landed. It got the rest and I headed home.  The loch is very close to the football stadium and there was a big match on this afternoon. It was really noisy so as I expected there was no birds around. However as I was leaving the crow appeared so I gave it a bit of Sardine and took the rest home for tomorrow.
