Happy Hols Day 13

Last day of the get away! It’s been a great break and the two centres make it seem longer. We are keen to prolong the feeling and as we approached Figueres/Girona AVE train stops we even checked our hotel in Blanes for a vacancy, thinking we could jump off and spend a few days there. It was fully booked! Then we thought of just staying on the train to Madrid, Dd devising a scheme where we feigned sleeping in past our Barcelona stop or even just trying to pay the extra sector! In the end we got off in Barcelona but hope to keep the holiday mood going for a couple of more staycation days!

This on the French coast at Narbonne. The high speed train can’t do any more that about what feels like fifty miles an hour on this sandy stretch.
