Gannet

Solan as they are known in Shetland.

While delighted to get a close up photo of a gannet I rather wished I hadn't as I'm afraid this was probably due to bird flu as it was displaying the symptoms while standing in a quiet corner of Spiggie beach.
In the extra it looks like it is looking to the sky remembering better days.
