Rain

It really tipped today and the sandy soil soaked up the moisture although the rain raced down the road.  Big relief for the garden although friends in Norfolk said they’d had nothing.  I collected all the rain water and grey water I could to chuck on random plants i feel look a bit peaky.  So many trees and bushes are shedding leaves in an early approx of Autumn.  My berberis bush, which I don’t love is looking half dead.  I’d be happy apart from the fact that it’s brilliant shelter for the birds. 

Rushed into the doctor for my hand and got a referral.  The physio did work a bit of magic though and my fingers straightened a bit.
