Big black cloud

Today we went to see our friend, Karen. Karen lives about 2 miles away so we walked through the park to get to her house and we walked through the park to get home.

Karen is not very well, but she absolutely loves animals and I am one of her most favourite little collie dog pups ever. Ann had made some egg mayo sandwiches for lunch and had also bought some chocolate eclairs and custard slices. They all looked yummy.

Obviously, as I am one of the most intelligent little collie pups in the world; I knew there was no point in asking Ann for any tasty little titbits. Auntie Karen was a lot more accommodating. Yay!

I kept putting my paws up on her and licking her feet and legs. And she didn't tell me off. I NEVER do that with Ann. Ann told Karen I wasn't allowed egg mayo sandwiches or chocolate eclairs or custard slices. So do you know what Karen did?....................... She had a tin of plain biscuits and she fed me one. I took it under the table and gobbled it up in super quick speed in case Ann took it off me.

We walked home through the park and there was brilliant sunshine in-front of us. But then I turned around and look what I saw................. a big black cloud?!!!..................... Ann said, 'Trixie, let's walk faster, I don't want this big black cloud to catch us up and soak us.' So we walked faster and actually the big black cloud disappeared. We haven't a clue where it went.

…..............By the time we'd walked home, Ann had to take her jacket off because 'Mr Sunshine' was shining brightly and she was hot!!!

….................And walking 2 miles to have lunch even though it was just a biscuit and walking 2 miles home has worn me out. I've been snoozing in my bed for the last couple of hours.

Goodnight. xxx
