Poor Pergola

Our pergola is on its last legs.  It was built by P and our son over 20 years ago and in its heyday was a fine feature of the garden.  Now it’s looking very sad as it has been battered by wind and heavy rain and leaning to one side.  It takes up a big space in the garden and we will have to fill it somehow but not sure what with.  Our garden needs a lot of attention after the dry months so I spent an hour working away and that was enough particularly as it was very hot again..  I used to be able to work all day outside but those days are long gone.
