Bricktropolis

Eben had a day with us today - a lovely chance to relax without having to fit in with the usual timetables of a school/work week.

Sheffield has a range of Lego-based holiday activities in the city centre this week, 'Bricktropolis'. There's a trail of huge Lego dinosaurs; there are also a couple of places for fun with building and model-making. No tickets, just drop in.

Eben and I spent a happy hour or so completing squares for a giant Lego dinosaur mosaic in a big hall. Oddly therapeutic, a bit like knitting.

Then we wandered back through town, trying out a fairground ride on the way. We finished up with a tram ride home. Bliss.
