Rumbled

The anticipated storm missed Maldon altogether

I was working from the office and left when there was a distant rumbling. Al left just before me and, with a longer commute, hit traffic and localised flooding. I sat in light traffic and had to water my pots when I arrived home.

The tide was high at the bridge and the Sunny Sailor pub has hung flags in some of the windows.

The sign written car in front is one of an interesting small fleet which includes a bus. The number plate and 'no experience required' make me laugh.
