Hill climb

I'd arranged to meet a friend at 6.30 so decided to attempt running up the hill on my winter route which is all on lighted tarmac.

I didn't make it very far at all before needing to walk to the top. This 'Carpenters Arms' pub is at the top. I imagine that there was once a sign in the space in the middle which now has an assortment of tools painted in it.

This is a traditional pub with a juke box and darts board. They serve real ale and only a small selection of bar snacks.
