Kuwait, here we come

Maple and I are going to visit Winston (Pictured), and of course Bex and Andy. We are very excited as it is Maple's first flight out-of-utero and a chance for some Maple and mummy time <3 Thanks to Stu for booking our flights, we are very excited and hope you and the twins have fun too.

Today was a mad day. Packing, nursery pick-ups and drop offs and goodbyes. Oh, and did I mention I went to visit my friend who has a 6-month-old and is expecting twins in 5 months time? 3 under 1. Wow!

Maple didn't do well for the flight. Her ears hurt and she cried for most of it. I stood up the whole time I could with her in the sling. The passengers were very understanding, thank goodness. As soon as we landed, she was all smiles again. This is the first time I have not brought a saline nasal spray (Helps with sore ears), and actually needed it for one of my kids!

Bex picked us up and we went straight to their Villa. Kuwait is much older and less western than Dubai. It was very interesting to see the buildings and culture differences.

At the (Rather large) Villa, Maple was fascinated by the turtles in the aquarium and was no trouble to settle in. She had her first night in a travel cot and did great.
