Sursee

We had a well earned swim here today in our cycle ride. We went through more fabulous villages with lovely painted houses as well as cycling through Lucerne (see extras). Also saw tobacco being grown and many different species of birds.

We had coffee and ice cream stops along the way and only just made the last ferry across the lake. A storm appeared to be coming in and the lake was rough for the last part of the journey. We arrived at the Youth Hostel but we’re too late for dinner. We put together all our food, with a bottle of wine, and had a picnic/swim by the lake.
