Liestal

This is the beautiful village of Liestal where we stopped for coffee this afternoon on our ebike ride. So many lovely buildings and paintings.

We cycled down to Aigle this morning and met up with two friends ready for a 4-day bike ride from the North to South Switzerland. We took the train to Basel then cycled to 6km beyond Aarau. We stopped for a swim in the river and for a pizza in Aarau before heading to the Air bnb. Aarau was an amazing place and it was great to wander around the cobbled streets.

The Air bnb is super and we were made to feel at home by the couple who run it. It was very interesting to chat to them.
