Baddesley Clinton

Another day starting with a Toby Carvery breakfast…sadly no Yorkshire puds today!

We then went off to another NT property - Baddesley Clinton. As you can see it is a magnificent moated house. We explored the grounds close to the house, partook of tea and tiffin in the cafe and then went on an ‘Estate Walk’ around the fields and byways nearby.

Back to the chalet for a nap, before heading out later for dinner!!

Last night while we were out (for a curry in Knowle) there was a tremendous downpour with some thunder and lightning..and we got drenched walking back to the car…and when we got back to the chalet there was water coming up through the floor into the bathroom…fortunately not foul water, so we had to mop that up before retiring for the night….
