Backblip: Zoom Preparation!

This had to be a backblip of an "Emergency Blip" as it was a busy day. The morning was spent along with my elder brother at my Dad's new care home, sorting out lots of administrative things and meeting his new GP. They have a super arrangement with a local GP practice whereby a specialist care-of-the-elderly GP does a "ward round" each Tuesday: in the current situation of difficult access to GPs this is excellent.

The afternoon was spent in preparing for our camera club meeting in the evening. We've had a 2-month "summer school" with weekly training in a variety of genres and this was a celebration of the results, with lots of photos and audio-visuals done by members during the course. As the club's "IT manager" I had the job of getting them all ready for our hybrid Zoom meeting, so my blip shows the laptop screen as I reminded myself how to share different programs running on the computer.

The club laptop was eager to update its Windows installation so I let it do so at about 4pm in case it decided to do it half way through the meeting. It must have been a major update as it took about an hour - I was a little anxious as to whether it would be finished in time! Happily it all worked out in the end.
