Memorial

After a night of some of the loudest thunder I've ever heard in my life I headed out on the bike for a final Perthshire ride before packing up and leaving the holiday home mid-morning.

Out in the evening to the second of the only two festival things I've actually booked so far - This Is Memorial Device at The Wee Red Bar, part of the book festival, produced by the Lyceum theatre, starring Paul Higgins. A terrific performance event based on David Keenan's book from a few years ago, all in a perfectly intimate venue. Great stuff.
