Viking

It was absolutely throwing it down all day so we had a low-key day in the house which felt weirdly like 2020 lockdown with MrsCyclops and CyclopsJnr working on projects in the conservatory and cyclops at work in his office.

CyclopsJnr wanted to make a Viking longship so that took up the whole morning. MrsCyclops planned the structure, but the rest is from the creative mind/hand of CyclopsJnr. He's become much more confident/ competent with such things recently. He did all the decorations and shields and sail and gluing. Perhaps comes eventually with age, but he's also engaged really well with P3 having sessions with a specialist art teacher.

CyclopsJnr then built a small Lego village and furnished the villagers with some gold/jewels, then we played several Viking raids on the village.

We also did some drumkit practice, a Lego challenge, attempted to mould a rugby mouth guard, and had a brief and damp walk to the corner shop.
