Can I come in?

This very drookit female blackbird was enviously eyeing us through the window. We are nice and dry inside and she is trying to shelter from the rain in our cotoneaster.
The thunder and lightening last night woke me with a start just before midnight as there was an almighty crash. It was right overhead. The storm then circled for hours.
The rain was needed but so was my beauty sleep!
