a bit on the wild side

a quick visit to Crosby beach and nipped to see my Aunty Rose before visiting Mum at the hospital.
I love the Mersey when it`s like this, high tide, blowing a gale and spray everywhere. The fishermen where braving the weather and a few bonkers joggers. After taking a dozen or so pics, I retreated to the car with a coffee and a fish finger barm .....( bap or cob depending where you come from).
Mum was a lot better today, chatting, complaining about the food and generally feeling crap in herself which considering the other week when we didn`t know if she was going to see the next day is an improvement....taking each day as it comes, it`s going to be a long haul before she`s back on her feet....
