Mad Hatters Tea Party

Alan and Katie got married today. Our invite was for the evening reception, held in a marquee at a very posh hotel {think £4 for a pint of pepsi from a plastic bottle}.
Katie is an avid reader and her favourite book is Alice in Wonderland so it was her idea to have all the tables set out as in the tea party from the book. All the crockery was mis matched, lovely centre pieces like this cake stand adorned with roses and candles. Instead of the usual chocolate fountain, there was a table set out with bowls of retro sweeties for the guests to help themselves....I`ve still got a bag of chocolate mice in the fridge...
