Perched

I saw the same scene yesterday, though this time I had a longer lens to try and get a bit closer to the young buzzard using the straw bale to watch out for food/danger.  This is full frame, with an equivalent focal length of 750 mm, but he/she is still quite small in the frame.

I made sure I was out early for the walk, still fresh and cool at 6:30 am.  The rest of the day was spent at home, trying to keep cool.
