Lunch

A lazy Sunday, staying in again and keeping well-hydrated, with 34°C outside, feeling even hotter because of rising humidity levels. Tomorrow, we might get thunderstorms. Some rain would be great. The forecast doesn’t promise any cooler temperatures, though.

We‘re both feeling tired and a bit grumpy, after our next-door neighbours hosted a big garden party last night. Just when it got cool enough to open the windows again, a mixture of barbecue smells, cigarette smoke and the stench of burning coffee (to keep the many wasps away from the barbecued meat) wafted into the house. 

This and the noise kept me awake until the last guests left - at 3 A.M.
