Indoor Day Again

Usually, Rani joins me on the sofa. Today, her sister took the place next to me, and promptly started to lick and groom her paws. She makes very funny noises when she does that.

Apart from an hour of gardening in the morning, another day spent indoors. The outside world heated up to 33 degrees C today, and the patio floor got so hot in the sun, I burned my feet when I stepped outside barefoot for a minute.

Yesterday’s attack on Salman Rushdie made me very sad. What kind of person imagines that stabbing a writer would solve any problems in our world?
