JUUUUUUST A BIT WIDE

IT'S MOTORHEAD SUNDAY and it's time to see a cool car not behaving according to normalcy.

To be precise, the car is only doing what the driver in charge told it to do. Sometimes even the best driver makes a poor decision and that's the case here at Turn 14 in Road America.

He came into the corner a little hot....maybe inexperience....maybe an excess of testosterone....perhaps both. To avoid the roll over or spin out  that would surely have happened given the 90° right turn,  this driver opted to steer his Lamborghini Hurrican right for the run-out layer of gravel, managed to turn a bit right, keep up his speed so as not to sink into the litter, gunned it and made it onto the grass and eventually back in the race.

All it cost him was a few extra seconds and he allowed a few cars to get ahead of him. I watched him.....he didn't make that mistake again.

BTW.....given the lack of ground clearance you can imagine the pile of gravel this bad boy plowed up. It's amazing the car wasn't stopped...but speed will do that for you.
