CROWNED PIGEON

Crowned pigeon (Goura sp.) is a large bird...chicken sized at least. There are four species, all very similar in size and coloration and all of which are native to New Guinea. This one lives with his mate at the zoo in Milwaukee.

FYI....the D500 is a crop body (DX) with a 1.5x multiplication factor. Thusly, the 300mm = 450mm equivalent.
