An Orange Bedding Begonia.
The 21st Week of the Church Year.
The Feast Day of Saint Maximillian Kolbe.
Paul and me had an early start and went for a walk in search of blackberries. It is 26c and we had our sun hats on. The breeze was still cool at 9:30am.
The site by the Golf Club provided quite a few blackberries, but the main crop is not yet ready for picking. I went out alone to photo sunflowers, and I found more blackberries and a few wild raspberries growing near the Methodist Church. By that time it was more humid, and sweltering to be honest, so I returned home to wash the fruit and fill my water bottle.
I will be staying indoors until the cool of the evening. I saw a couple of small tortoiseshell butterflies sunning themselves on a garden wall.
I will listen to online Holy Mass from Ireland and then Songs of Praise on BBC1.
Stay hydrated and enjoy a lovely Sunday blip friends.
