Sunflower on a sunny day

Long walk around the Botanics with M, while other folk headed into town to see a talk and some exhibitions. Beautiful day, though in places the gardens are showing the stress of this dry summer.

In the evening accidentally watered a grasshopper which was nestled in a very dry trough. It seemed none the worse for it and soon hopped off.
