Sunset Over Poole Harbour

It was  another scorcher of a day but the evening was much more comfortable. I met friends for a dip in the sea at Sandbanks to watch the moon rise. That was a first for me. It was quite surreal swimming after dark and to watch the full moon rise was pure joy.

I didn't take my camera onto the beach until after the swim, so here's the sunset on the Poole Harbour side of the spit.

We also had the unexpected treat of seeing Bournemouth's fireworks from our position on the beach!
