A thoughtful gift

Our delightful Neapolitan friend “A”, who lives in London, was in Venice with her husband and then 4 year old son last year. She brought us this lovely Carnival mask when she visited a couple of months ago. She thought I would enjoy painting it, but I just love it as it is.

Featured it on Blip today as I haven’t been out all day (too hot - ca. 30C). Been glued to the news on the mobile.

However it’s now 7 pm and started to cool, so time to finally get some fresh air. Expect the beach is still packed!
