Hestinsetter

Back to the horrible summer.  Dull, grey, low cloud and rain most of the day, dry tonight.  Beeezy most of the day, calm this evening. 

The start of six days off, and stuck in the house most of the day.  It stopped raining before lunch, and met friend Julie for walkies.  We headed out for a run in the afternoon, and managed a short walk when it briefly stopped raining this afternoon.  Working in the shop this evening, and a quiet evening, until the last hour.  Walkies with Sammy again, and now feet up. 

Heading out in the car, we came across some of the heatwave, when I had to turn on the fans to demist the windscreen!  We decided to go for a look at this old croft when the rains eased, but we still got soaked from the wet grass.  I was loving the colours in the stonework, and will need to come back and have a look again, but another year when it dries up, no fear of droughts here.  Taken at Hestinsetter, Wester Skeld.
