Sandra Swimming in Shandra

After yet another very poor night’s sleep, I decided that I would take it easier today as we had a chance of a lift to our next b & b. Instead of walking with Carole and Kate, I had a morning snooze and a fab swim in Loch Shandra, followed by a picnic. I did walk a few miles of today’s stage (too hot) met the others and we had another swim in the Loch. It does mean I won’t have done the full trail but so be it. No regrets. Thankfully the next 2 days have shorter walks. Unfortunately it looks as though the weather won’t break until Sunday when we’re heading back to Peebles.
