Spittal of Glenshee

I slept very little last night so I wasn’t particularly looking forward to a 650 metres climb uphill with rucksacks in the baking heat! That said the scenery was wonderful. We got to Braemar in the afternoon (we were picked up from the trail) and after tea and cake in Gordon’s Tearoom (excellent) we swam in the Dee to cool down. Relaxing now in Braemar Youth Hostel.
