South Kensington underpass.
Today I was off down to London with work - for a Society of Garden Designers conference at Imperial College.
Leaving South Kensington station, I like to use this underpass to get to the college. It never ceases to amaze me what an incredible thing the Victorians did building the underground and the maze of tunnels that run under the street. This one which leads to the V&A, past the Museum of Natural History and right out at Imperial College. It's beautifully tiled, was really quiet first thing in the morning and the light spilling down from the world above just added to its atmospheric feeling.
