Twin chimneys.

Today I had to take my little van to get serviced in a garage just off Leith Walk in Edinburgh. It's one of those jammed into a narrow street where all the cars coming & going are shuffled about up and down/ in and out of the garage as they get fixed and finished.

The sight of that would have been today's blip most likely until I spotted this on the walk up to the city centre to meet a friend. I can't quite remember what used to sit on this site but its been demolished and there's a huge piece of wasteland where I'm pretty sure there never used to be.

I liked not only the view over the barren wilderness to the chimneys in the distance through the railings but most intriguingly the people in there. Where WERE they going...??
