Grim art

I had to go for a routine mammogram and the address given was Asda car park Fratton and a postcode.

That part of Portsmouth is a series of roundabouts that challenged even my sense of direction. But the main problem was when I got into the car park I couldn’t find the mobile clinic at all. I finally approached the only person I could see with a lanyard and she directed me to it,  tucked away in this bricked corner. When I went in it was cool and air-conditioned and full of a bunch of cheerful,  chatty nurses.

A heat wave is back and I’ve decided to sacrifice remaining sweet peas.  There aren’t many now and  it doesn’t seem right to water them just for the odd tiny bunch. I have plenty of cosmos soldiering on.

Talked to B & C who both got Covid in Italy - for the first time.
