The After-Vet-Visit Look

Today was check the blood sugar day to see if she's getting the right amount of insulin.  Apparently she's not because her numbers were close to 500 so I have to increase her dose.  I don't think she'll notice because she hardly notices the shot now.

Her wonderful Dr. Jake informed us that this would be his last visit with Lizzie because he's moving on to another career opportunity which actually sounded wonderful for him.  We'll miss him terribly but our vet has no shortage of good doctors, some of whom already know Lizzie.  Dr. Jake just had a way with her and I'll probably miss him more than she will but we said goodby, reluctantly, and wished him well in his new endeavor.  I have no doubt he'll succeed.
