Withdrawal Symptoms

Took myself off for a little evening stroll feeling a little flat about the Games ending. Thought I would visit the Bull for comfort and my heart was warmed to see a little crowd buzzing around him still at 9pm, studio dismantled but megastore still standing (holding a mega sale), one or two volunteers still milling around and none of the posters, colour wraps or Perry statues gone yet. What a relief, much better for me if they just remove the Games quietly and gradually rather than ripping the plaster off in one go!
