Castlemilk House Fireplace
This is all that remains of Castlemilk House where it stood in the great hall before demolition in 1969. It depicts the Seige of Orleans in 1429 where 2 of the descendants of Stewart of Castlemilk died in the service of the Dauphin who became King Charles V11 of France. The location will be one stopping point on a Ramblers walk led by my pal, we were doing the recce today.
Lovely sunshine and not overly hot. And we saw a kingfisher in Linn Park.
