Ukraine sunflower

A few months ago blipper Squatbetty did some fundraising for Ukraine by getting donations for sunflower seeds. Which came in a lovely little package with also a little embroidery (see Squatbetty’s journal for dozens of other beautiful embroideries) some little wooden shapes to paint (to follow) and other stickers and treasures.
Anyhow the main point is I now have 7 fabulous sunflowers - not the giant ones, as you see, but really gorgeous, and they will provide food for the garden birds later on.
By the way it hadn’t rained, this is after I had watered them - with a watering can. I’m on a water meter so treat it as the precious resource it is
