Hedge Accentor

Always thought of these things as pretty humdrum creatures along with sparrows but I've begun to be a little more appreciative. They never appear on the bird table but seem to spend most of their time just in the shelter of a low box hedge from which they scuttle out for food. They really could do with a bit of light but we've only seen the sun for a few minutes today. Cold and rainy.
