Today is my eldest daughter's 18th birthday.

It hardly seems like a year or two since she first smiled to the world, then took her first baby dancing steps, performed in her first ballet, etc.

She has kept on dancing through life with 'aplomb', full of 'deboulé', pirouettes and of course, from time to time, a little 'attitude', the odd 'battement', some 'bras croisé', and a fair number of 'cabrioles'.

Now she is getting ready for a 'grand jeté' as end of secondary school approaches and she looks to new horizons. Dancing onwards.
