Day 10

Squeezed in one last event this morning, hockey at the University of Birmingham and a bronze medal match between India and New Zealand. India got the bronze but it went right down to the wire with a shoot-out. Wandered from evening church and soaked up a bit more of the buzz and watched bits of athletics on various big screens. So sad it’s all coming to an end, and never been as proud to be a Brummie. It’s been 10 days like no others in the city and I’ve been so blessed to be here in the mix of it all. Wish we could start it all again!
