Scaravaios

We (mostly) had the day off work, today, and took the girls down to a beach bar that the Minx had found out about. It was perfect; busy but not overcrowded, with a lovely beach, and great staff.

Once the girls were settled in, we took the car into Akrata to find a garage to get the slow puncture repaired. The guys there barely spoke any English and the Minx has only a few words of Greek*, but through gesture and mime, we got there. In fact, everyone seemed to enjoy the process.

Once the work was underway, and we had obtained some idea of how long the work might take, we found a bakery and enjoyed coffees, plus an amazing pastry filled with some kind of custard.

And once we'd collected the car, we drove back to Scaravaios, and enjoyed the rest of the day there with the girls.
