Recuperation time

The set-up at Astley Ainslie is very different; it's altogether more relaxed, the staff have more time to spend with you, and the accommodation is more spacious.

I've been moved to a two-person room. My roommate Jimmy had his amputation at about the same time as me, and was on the same ward. 

We're both grateful to no longer be sweltering in Ward 105.
