Field Thistle

Pleasant evening walk with my son J and Hollie dog. Another lovely day and a fine sunset. 

J is home from Sweden for two weeks and it's great catching up with news from abroad. 

He had a good trip this afternoon, with our daughter Ell, driving out for a walk round Shrewsbury and a nice lunch at a posh restaurant. 

Ell has bought a bridge camera, Nikon Coolpix P900. I had a play and was quite impressed. It has an 83x optical zoom which is extraordinary. But seriously needs stabilising at that magnification!

Commonwealth games is going well. Just a shame about the runner who was shot when a starting gun went off. Police think it was race related.
