Saturday: Elderberries

We were up early, MrD went off with a shopping list to Asda and was back by 8 o’clock.
I took the photo of the “Black Lace” elderflower which so full of berries, I’m tempted to use a few in a compote with the Bramley apple windfalls.
Made curries for tonight’s dinner and had a relaxing day.
Weather is warming up again, warm enough to eat dinner outdoors late afternoon.
We had phone chats with The Sailor, I enjoy hearing about the development of his work and his visits to the ships. His conversation with MrD was about central heating, I think …
