Road Trip

Today is my (Annie’s) birthday. I’ve had a lovely day having a sunny road trip from Sheffield to Ullapool. All those hours in a car is not everyone’s idea of a good time, but I love an adventure.

My brother and Fred put us up last night, and made us pancakes this morning. A great start to the day! We then headed up, following the route of the Triumph Round Britain Run, so we could see the bits of the Scottish Borders and highlands that are usually in pitch black on the run.

Such a beautiful drive and a lovely day. Tomorrow the adventure continues!
