50 today!

It’s my (Annie’s) 50th birthday today. The day started with a swim in the loch for some of my friends followed by a sea kayaking session. Amazing to be able to launch from just next to the house.

I picked Chris up from the local train station just after 4, who’d travelled up from home starting out at around 8am. Really lovely he made it up here. I got back to a decorated house and a video call with the remaining friends who didn’t make it because of COVID (they’re coming tomorrow). A meal, drinking, games and chat - a perfect birthday.
