After taking Bramble to the park we spent the morning making the house toddler proof .
The afternoon was spent back at the park this time with a small boy literally in tow. He likes us to tie the dog lead to the beloved bike and then he pulls one of us along .
Arthur is having a sleepover tonight , he seems very pleased and proud to have become a “big brother.”

The news on the economy continues to be grim , I’m burying my head in the sand of children’s stories .
Meanwhile Dave is cutting boughs off the trees that surround our plot so that we can burn it over the winter.
