Beautiful Bruges

My first visit to this beautiful city.  We arrived quite early in the morning before the crowds and it was magical walking around the quiet streets alongside the canals. 

In extras is one of the windmills which sit on a pathway around the edge of the old city boundary. Originally there were 25 but now only a handful remain. It’s quite a walk from there into the city centre so we are certainly getting our exercise! 

Also in extras a van delivering beer and passing with inches to spare through the Gate of Ghent - one of four remaining medieval city gates into the city.  The van driver had no doubt done it before!  One final extra is just some metal work in the city which caught my eye.
