Weigh in day!
Usually we get Noah weighed every month around his monthly anniversary - the 8th of the month! However, we were away this month and today was the first chance I could get to baby clinic. It wasn't until 1.30 so we had a nice relaxing morning with some sensory play, we sat outside and did some grass rolling (which gave him a rash, whoops!) and then I looked at my phone and remembered I was meeting up with two of my closest mateys for lunch - IN AN HOUR! Noah needed a nap which allowed me a chance to shower and then we rushed over to the cafe.
Cheery boy himself was as smiley as ever and watched 2yr old Caden play with interest. I bet he can't wait to move! He ate his turkey and coleslaw sarnie with gusto and then after I took a quick snap of heavily pregnant Aunty Tessa off we went! I can;t wait to see what Noah's reaction will be when this new baby arrives!
The health visitors were happy with the boy and were extremely pleased that I was still breastfeeding and that he's doing so well with baby led weaning. They were shocked to see him sitting so well and turning to crawl as well as his constant chatter and smiles. Made me shed a little tear by calling me a "great mother". I get told often how amazing Oli is as a dad but you don't often hear that you're doing a good job. He now weighs a smidge over 9.7kg which puts him on the 91st centile.
I'm so proud of my happy little man. Look how far he has come!!
